Company Background

Eviation Jets is composed of professionals who firmly believe the Vantage jet will fill a void in the private business aviation industry. Eviation Jets acquired all technical drawings, trademarks, molds and tooling of the bankrupt VisionAire Corporation of St. Louis, MO on Oct. 2, 2003.  In addition to owning all assets and intellectual property, Eviation also owns a mock-up of the original Vantage Jet prototype.

Without the burden of debt that previously encumbered the Vantage's original management team, founder and Chairman Matthew Eller and his team intend to establish a new standard in the private business aircraft industry, making Eviation Jets a leading, profitable aviation industry player.

Eviation Jets promises a solution that will deliver executives, directors, managers and coordinators to their destinations with executive class comfort. We are not the "air cabs" with limited space that many are attempting to build.  We are the "air-limo" that has a spacious cabin for its mobile office that provides executives and companies with the essentials to be productive while moving at jet speeds.  The environment that we provide management is like no other in the industry.  A great environment with the right tools moving at jets speeds is the key to high productivity.

The company was founded to design and deliver a revolutionary aviation product - the Vantage. A private business jet in a class by itself, this twin-engine, 8-10-seat, all-composite aircraft has already captured the attention of aviation experts and the investment of eager customers.

The company's goal is to bring the Vantage, a jet developed from the engineering and design of the aviation industry's foremost experts, to market as quickly as possible. To do this, Eviation Jets is taking advantage of the 12 years of engineering, design and marketing that have already been completed for the Vantage.

Assisted by pioneering aviation designer Burt Rutan, a group of industry experts first developed the concept for a new class of business aircraft in the early 1990s. The result of their vision, the Vantage, is an engineering masterpiece, which is currently going through the CTA and FAA Certification process.

The original engineers created the Vantage with a twin-engine.  However, in the mid-90's, a twin-engine that was affordable and available was still years away.  The engineers decided to enter the market with a single-engine only for affordability, but allowing enough room in the engine compartment for the "in development" Williams FJ44-1A turbofan engines.  Eviation Jets has removed the interim step with the single-engine and has put the twin FJ44-1A's in its drawings, moving them to pods on the exterior, which in turn has improved performance, decreased the weight, and made it even more efficient.

Eviation has added two of the aviation industries most experienced executives who lead and oversee the Vantage's development from engineering, design, and certification through production.

Guido Pesotti, a founder and former president and chief technical advisor of Embraer, joined the company as president and chief engineer of Eviation Jets Brazil. He has overseen the design and certification of over fifteen aircraft and brings over forty seven years of aviation experience to the company.

Eviation Jets is in business to transform the global air transportation market by cutting in half the cost of jet travel. The company has developed the EV-20 Vantage Jet, a progressive 8–10 seat, all composite, twin-engine business jet. The company will finish flight certification in mid-2007. The EV-20 Vantage Jet is priced at $2.995M, strategically placed 50% below traditional jets on the market today. Eviation Jets is outsourcing manufacturing to Brazil
and using advanced technology components to corner competitive advantages in passenger load, fuel efficiency, and price.

Close Attention to Productivity

Another fact of our changing world is that business managers are continuously pressured to find new ways to keep traveling executives productive. As the commercial airline industry cuts back on flights and services, and airports morph into security bottlenecks, the private business jets and their time-saving benefits are quickly becoming the preferred mode of air travel for many companies to improve productivity by:

  • Saving employee time
  • Increasing productivity en route
  • Minimizing hours away from home
  • Ensuring personal and industrial security
  • Maximizing personal safety and peace of mind
  • Leveraging efficient, reliable scheduling
  • Projecting a positive corporate image
  • Closing last minute deals

Private business aircraft are productivity multipliers that allow passengers to conduct business en route with complete privacy away from the stresses associated with commercial travel.

Because ownership allows companies to control virtually all aspects of their travel plans, companies that maintain their own aircraft have complete control over the readiness of their fleets. Itineraries can be changed instantly, and private business aircraft can be flown to thousands more destinations than are served by the scheduled airlines. Private aircraft ownership often times enables travelers to return home the same day.

Statistical studies indicate that private business aircraft generally are more cost-effective than commercial services. The studies indicate the following savings of time and money:

  • Using private business aircraft saves 4 hrs travel time and 8 hrs productive time per trip.
  • Private business aircraft saves overnight-stay expenses.
  • The average private business jet trip saves $1,400 in direct costs and $7,600 in associated costs.
